Aanii Boozhoo, Biindigen! Welcome to Assiginack Consulting and Training. My lived experience as an Anishinaabe-kwe, performing artist and educator has led me to 20+ years experience in audience engagement and mentorship. As a result of creating curriculum I founded my own Indigenous Awareness and Corporate Training Services. Being a descendent of War Chief and Oratory Jean Baptiste Assiginack is inspired through legacy. My ancestor would translate between the French and the Anishinaabe to later also the British. After the War of 1812 he worked here in Toronto – Tkaronto. My approach to training is creative and unique from my lifetime of being a multi-disciplinary performer. I walk through the door or step on stage actively connecting with the room and passionate about this work. I look forward to help build meaningful relationships and understanding between you and the Indigenous community. Welcome to my Anishinaabe worldview.
