Indigenous Awareness

Inspired by Legacy

Lena Recollet founded Assiginack Consulting with the commitment to provide a service inspired by the legacy of one of her ancestors. Jean-Baptiste Assiginack was a War Chief and Oratory who worked in Toronto after his contributions in the War of 1812. Remembering his work being a translator between the French, British and the Anishinaabe is the reason for naming Assiginack Consulting in his honour. Lena is a multi-disciplinary performer with 20+ years experience in facilitation, teaching and guest speaking. Her goal is to develop a reciprocal relationship between unique needs of clients and Indigenous communities.
